Each week, over 4,500 youth take part in Scouting activities and programs in our communities. If they all met at the same time and place, the evening news would cover the event every week. But they gather unnoticed, in private homes, in church basements, community centers, and school cafeterias. They take on exciting challenges and explore new skills under the watchful eyes of positive adult role models. In small groups, they all learn the values of Scouting which foster self-reliance, personal responsibility, leadership, and both physical and mental well-being.
The Buckeye Council Boy Scouts is committed to delivering the Scouting program to our local Scouts. In fact, over 1,100 youth have joined Scouting this fall.
Some youth who want to join Scouting as a result of our well- received programs, are unable to pay the registration fee to join due to family financial hardship. Please help a youth become a Scout today by supporting our Registration Assistance Campaign?
