I hope this message finds you well. As we approach the end of the year, I am reaching out to encourage you to participate in our class fundraiser during Richland Gives. This wonderful online giving event, hosted by the Richland County Foundation, runs through Tuesday, December 3, 2024. It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to support local nonprofits and strengthen our community.

Leadership Unlimited was a transformative experience for all of us. We learned about key community initiatives, forged lifelong connections, and grew as leaders. Now in its 41th year, the program continues to expand in participants, alumni, and impact. The class of 2024 reported significant growth in leadership skills, community awareness, and networking from start to finish.

LU equips individuals with the knowledge to address community challenges and develop solutions within their organizations. This year’s class is collaborating with NAMI Richland County on a capstone project to launch a mental health awareness walk.

The LU alumni network remains active with social events, service projects, luncheons, and more throughout the year. Let’s give back to the program that has given us so much. This year, donations will go towards the LU scholarship fund, ensuring a diverse mix of industries, business sizes, and communities are represented in each LU class.

The Chamber Foundation is competing for prizes during Richland Gives, so the best time to donate is December 3, 2024, between 12 and 1 p.m. The LU class that raises the most funds will enjoy a group lunch or happy hour. Let’s show everyone that we are the best class ever!

Thank you for your support and generosity.
