For 36 years, the Ohio Bird Sanctuary has been providing compassionate care to ill, injured, and imprinted wild birds who are native to Ohio.  In that time, hundreds of birds have been rehabilitated and released back into the wild! Every one of them was fed, loved, and professionally cared for without ever charging the public a dime.

Every year, more than 16,000 visitors from near and far will connect with nature on our 90 acre preserve. Families have picnics, folks hike with their dogs, and people get the grounding benefits of precious time outdoors. These visitors also bring tourism dollars to Richland County. Your donations today keep our admission costs low! 

Educational programming is a huge part of our mission. Hundreds of school-aged children each year "trade screen-time for green time" with the Ohio Bird Sanctuary. Nature Camps, field trips, and educational outreach programs all help us to connect our next generation with its natural resources.
