As a part of our Richland Gives campaign for annual giving, we are hosting a school-wide Read-a-Thon for the month of December for any students who wish to participate. Students will collect pledges for the coming month and promise to read for goal of minutes or pages that they set for themselves for that day. If someone chooses to sponsor a day, they will pick a day, sign their name to the calendar, and pay the amount of the date.
How It Works:
- Pick a date you would like to sponsor
- Write your name in the square
- The first ten days are $10 each, the next ten days are $15 each, the final eleven days are $20 each
Example: the 8th = $10, the 18 = $15, the 30 = $20
All calendars will be due to school by Tuesday, December 3, 2024.
Like most private schools, tuition only covers a portion of our operating expenses, so purposeful fundraising and generous philanthropic gifts from those who love our Little School in the Woods keep us going strong! By combining this with our mission to make future leaders out of readers, we are living our values and making our school stronger in more than one way.
Instead of traditional prizes, we are hosting a Pancakes and Paperbacks party in the gym with Mr. Simon and Mrs. Nugent in early December! More information to come :-)
