Celebrating 30 Years of Empowering Women and Girls

For 30 years, the Women's Fund has been dedicated to empowering women and girls across Richland County through philanthropy.

Every dollar you donate brings us one step closer to making a lasting, positive impact in our community.

Breaking Barriers Through Quality Childcare: By listening to our community, we've learned that one of the single greatest barriers women face is a lack of affordable, high-quality childcare. Reliable childcare is the foundation that makes everything else possible:

• For Mothers: It provides the freedom to pursue higher education, build a career, or gain peace of mind knowing their children are in a safe, nurturing environment.
• For Families: It offers single mothers a path out of generational poverty toward financial security.
• For Our Community: It strengthens our local economy and gives children the best possible start in life.

Since 2019, we have invested a significant portion of our grant budget into strengthening local childcare infrastructure—because when women succeed, our whole community thrives.

Funding Diverse Needs Across Richland County. In addition to our focus on childcare, your contributions allow us to continue funding local programs that support the physical, intellectual, emotional, social, economic, and cultural growth of women and girls.
