What is the Key & Shield Society?

The Key & Shield Society is a distinguished group of St. Peter’s School’s most devoted supporters, whose generosity and vision ensure our mission thrives. These ardent donors champion our commitment to inspiring and preparing students to lead lives of purpose—centered in Christ and dedicated to excellence.

By investing in the Key & Shield Society, members provide the vital financial support needed to bridge the gap between tuition and the full cost of educating each student. This generosity empowers us to offer exceptional programs and services that enrich our community, including attracting and retaining high quality faculty, Advanced Placement classes, Gifted & Talented programming, spiritual retreats, tutoring services, and an affordable Montessori preschool.

Located in the heart of Downtown Mansfield, St. Peter’s School is deeply grateful for the commitment of our Key & Shield members, whose contributions have a transformative impact on the lives of our students and families. Society members can choose between two levels of annual commitment:

• Blue Level: $5,000 annually
• Gold Level: $10,000 annually

Honoring your commitment through Richland Gives not only sustains our mission but also enables St. Peter’s to compete for additional matching funds from the Richland County Foundation, maximizing your impact.

What is Richland Gives?

RichlandGives is an online giving event sponsored by The Richland County Foundation that encourages everyone to contribute to Richland County's nonprofits through an online giving platform hosted by RCF.  It kicks off on November 18, 2024, and culminates on #GivingTuesday, December 3rd, the global day of charitable giving.  

Richland Gives offers grants as incentives to inspire donors and organizations to participate in the excitement.  

What is the Annual Fund?

St. Peter's Annual Fund is used to help fill the gap between the tuition and scholarship dollars received and the actual cost of a child's education.  In addition, Annual Fund dollars help to support student financial aid, fund new academic initiatives and attract and retain quality teachers.  The overall goal for the 24-25 school year is $150,000.
