Help Us Preserve the Heart of Our Healing Work

The round pen is where everything happens. It's more than just a space—it's the heart of our program, the foundation for connection, healing, and transformation. Within its boundaries, distractions fade away and meaningful moments emerge, fostering trust, growth, and recovery for all who step inside.

Over the past five years, thanks to the dedication of our community and amazing team, we've been able to maintain the ground covering and fencing. However, time and weather have taken their toll, and our round pen is now in need of a major overhaul. The costs for replacement and repairs in today’s climate are substantial and present a real challenge for us. 

We often find ourselves dreaming about the Covered Round Pen Project —a space that would bring greater comfort, extend our sessions through all seasons, and foster deeper family connections. (Someday Lord)

For now, for us, Liberty Horsemanship found in Equine Assited Learning is a source of joy.  Having a dedicated, place means so much. While we don’t offer therapy in the clinical sense, we truly understand the importance of connection, the wisdom of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, and the necessity of being trauma informed. Every veteran, at-risk youth, trauma survivor who walks through our gate deserves our time and respect. Having a safe space ready is often life changing. The round pen is more than just an arena; it’s like a sanctuary for all who enter—a place where minds find calm and hearts find understanding.

 This is how you can help! Every contribution will help us restore the round pen—ensuring it remains a safe and nurturing environment for connection and healing for years to come. Who knows!!!! Maybe we will be able to even start the Covered Round Pen Project sooner than later.
