Richland Pregnancy Services

God's provision allowed us to pay off our building in 2024!  His continued blessing has allowed us to embark on a major renovation project and remain debt free! We want to be good stewards of all that God has blessed this ministry with! 

Dad to dad mentors encourage, equip and empower dads to be a supportive and active part in the role of parenting - even before baby has even been born!The renovation project has created a dedicated Men's Ministry area to provide a place where men waiting on their partner while having a pregnancy test can be made to feel welcome and where they can be given options counseling and education on how to support the mother of the baby.  Dad to Dad mentoring will also be held in this space.

This project has also increased client confidentiality. Removing the open ceiling space that made client confidentiality difficult at times.  The enclosure of strategic areas will now ensure the client that their conversations are kept confidential. Buildilng trust from the moment she walks in the door!

We have expanded areas needed for volunteers that are Client Advocates, Nurse Advocates or Mentor Moms.

We have also created a safe and accessible space for training and education.  Parenting Classes can now be held on the first floor!

How does Richland Pregnancy Services meet needs in this community?

RPS is a medical facility that operates under a medical doctor with Registered nurses on staff. Services include free medical-grade pregnancy tests that can verify a pregnancy as well as limited ultrasounds for women who are not yet under the care of a doctor to confirm the placement and viability of the baby.  We also provide free testing for sexually transmitted infections and diseases for anyone regardless of income. 

Our goal is for more women facing decisions about their pregnancy to be directed to us to find a safe place to verify and process their pregnancy and receive compassion and support from our volunteers and staff.

We provide a shoulder to lean on for women and men who need support.

Every day we help women who are experiencing confusing and challenging situations and are in need of our support. Unfortunately, people in their lives are telling them that abortion is an easy and simple “solution.” Because we understand the long-term effects & consequences of that decision, we approach each client with compassion and education.  Each woman is given all the facts to be fully informed in making their choice.  

Our primary concern is our clients’ well-being, which is why we do not charge them for any of our services.

Nancy RN performing ultrasoundIt is important to get accurate results from the free pregnancy testing offered at RPS. So far this year we have provided 230 medical-grade pregnancy tests.

An ultrasound image is used to determine how far along a woman is in her pregnancy, detect a fetal heartbeat, and gauge a few other important factors during the early stages of pregnancy.  So far in 2025 we have performed 177 ultrasounds.

STD testing will decrease a woman’s chances of health risks that can make a pregnancy more difficult, such as serious infections and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease. The health and safety of men are also important, we provide free STD testing and treatment to both men and women.
