For nearly 40 years, Richland Pregnancy Services (RPS) has been serving women and men in Richland County and surrounding communities—meeting people right where they are with compassion, practical support, and medically informed care.

As a debt-free 501(c)(3) organization, we are deeply committed to being good stewards of every resource God has entrusted to this ministry. When you give to RPS, your generosity helps provide free services and compassionate support to people in our community who are facing important and often difficult decisions. 

Meeting Real Needs in Our Community

Pregnancy can bring excitement, uncertainty, fear, or a combination of all three. At RPS, we provide a safe place where women and men can slow down, ask questions, receive accurate information, and know they are not alone.

Medical Services at No Cost

RPS is a medical facility operating under the direction of a Medical Doctor, with registered nurses on staff. We provide:

• Free medical-grade pregnancy testing to accurately verify pregnancy.
• Limited obstetric ultrasounds for women who are not yet under the care of a physician, helping confirm the location and viability of the pregnancy.
• Free STI/STD testing and treatment for both men and women, regardless of income.

These services give our clients important information about their health and pregnancy so they can make informed decisions about what comes next.

Compassion When It Matters Most

Every day, we meet women and men who are navigating confusing, challenging, and sometimes overwhelming circumstances.

Some arrive frightened. Some are unsure of what to do. Some feel pressured by people around them or believe abortion is their only option.

We believe no one should have to face an unexpected pregnancy alone.

Our staff and volunteers provide a listening ear, a shoulder to lean on, practical resources, education, and compassionate support. We take the time to understand each person's unique situation and provide medically accurate information about their pregnancy and available options.

Our goal is simple: to make sure our clients have the information, support, and care they need to make informed decisions for themselves and their futures.

And because our clients' well-being is our priority, we do not charge for our services.

In 2025, RPS provided:

• 230 medical-grade pregnancy tests
• 177 limited ultrasounds

We also provided free STI/STD testing and treatment to men and women throughout the year.
