Supporting Our Community

This is an unprecedented, uncertain time for so many people, and the Richland County Foundation has launched a COVID-19 relief initiative to help the nonprofits who serve our community so they can continue their important work when we Richland County needs them the most. Join us in coming together to support our community on Tuesday, May 5, 2020!

Neos Company History:

Neos takes risks. We start new things. Neos is Greek for starting something new and it’s not just a slogan: it’s what we do and who we are. It’s what you love about us and what we love about you, our most faithful and supportive audience. 

• Last season alone, Neos reached farther than ever: We served more than 27,000 people across Ashland, Cuyahoga, Franklin, Hancock, Lorain, Richland and Summit counties, plus toured in Georgia and North Carolina. 
• We piloted two new programs: Lose Your Marbles in Akron and Jazz- M.A.D.E. in Ashland. 
• We also build upon our existing programs and collaborations: Ballet @ the Brickyard in Mansfield, Petrushka in partnerships with the Akron Symphony and The University of Akron Dance Institute, the premiere of Carmina Burana with the Canton Symphony, annual performances for the Chance to Dance fundraiser in Findlay, and two weekends of A 1940’s Nutcracker in Elyria and Mansfield that combined our dancers with more 75 local students and a professional symphony orchestra.

Neos is recognized as  an innovative performing arts organization in Ohio. Yet, as energizing  as this is, it has come with significant costs that are impacting our financial health and ability to sustain our dance company and serve our communities. 

Simply put, Neos urgently needs your support now more than ever. Will you take a risk with us and demonstrate your support of what we are doing?
