The Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment (M.A.K.E.) is a non-profit karate academy, dedicated to empowering individuals through traditional karate, self-protection, and strength training.

Transformation, Not Transactions. Members don't join M.A.K.E. for a class or gym membership. They embark on a journey of self-discovery, leaving each session with a healthier body, sharper mind, stronger spirit, and lasting confidence. Parents report positive measurable behavioral and emotional changes ; adults report increased resilience and life satisfaction.

Mission-Driven Non-Profit Structure. As a 501(c)(3), every dollar supports our mission of transforming lives and strengthening communities. This enables scholarship commitments, free community events, and strategic partnerships unavailable to commercial competitors. Our downtown location, chosen deliberately to serve underserved populations, positions us as community infrastructure, not just a service provider.
