Oh, what a year it's been.  While we reflect the good, the bad, and the absolutely OVERWHELMING, we are filled with so much gratitude for this animal loving community and the support you give us.  We had HUGE cases of animal neglect this year (with a record breaking 80 dogs coming from one home) and invested more blood, sweat, and tears (so many tears) than we thought humanly possible. We've taken in far more animals than we have in past years, and had a record number of necessary surgeries as well.  And we are still here. Amazing.

Our commitment to this community and the animals that reside here is unwavering. Our mission is to advocate and compassionately care for the abandoned, abused, and neglected animals in our community until we can find them loving homes. This year proved, once again, that we still have so much work to do.

Every year, Richland County Foundation generously offers this platform to deserving non-profits like ours to help raise critically needed funds.  We are not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States, the ASPCA, or the Richland County Dog Warden's Office (which is funded through the county government), and we receive no government assistance.  Our donations come from YOU, our supporters.

This year, Giving Tuesday is on November 28th - but donations can be made early.  In fact, donations can be made RIGHT NOW.  This campaign will provide much needed assistance to some very deserving animals.

Animals make our lives better. They deserve passionate and committed advocates who work tirelessly to make their lives better too. Thank you for your continued support.  We wish you good health and happiness.
